Abstract: Information security, nowadays, when both states, institutions, companies and societies increasingly use information in digital form, is becoming a critical factor of the organization's activity. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to discuss the issues of building an information security management system in a modern company. This systemic approach is a response to the expectations of modern organizations and a very important issue, due to the fact that with regard to the security of information systems, each organization should verify its activities in terms of sufficient information protection.
